Johann Nicholas Beckner Sr. (b. c.1704, Baden, Germany; d. before 1779, Pennsylvania) is the earliest verifiable ancestor in Parker's direct Beckner line and the immigrant origin of that line. He sailed to Pennsylvania aboard the ship Lydia from Rotterdam, was listed on the passenger manifest at age 36, and was naturalized in Philadelphia in 1743. He later appears in York County, Pennsylvania, and is recorded as a member of the Great Conewago Church of the Brethren in 1770. No earlier record has been identified.
